When God Made Light by Matthew Paul Turner

When God Made Light is a stellar combination of rollicking rhyming text and whimsical pictures. The vibrancy of the illustrations draws in readers of all ages.  I love all the detail that illustrator David Catrow includes on each page. So much to explore and discover in every single picture!

Matthew Paul Turner knows how to spin an engaging story. Don't be surprised if your audience wants to jump up and dance--there is truly energy and life on every page of this book.  And the best part is that kids get a glimpse of the creative, awe-inspiring God who created light.

There is so much beauty and pulsating life and energy (and light!) throughout this story. This is a book that begs to be reread and pored over and even set to music. I highly recommend this delightful book by Turner and Catrow. Hopefully they will collaborate on many more titles!
