Little Cub is having a hard time loving the otters. As each little annoyance comes up, his Grampa gently guides him to understand that God wants us to love others. He also explains about God's character and how because He is love, He can help us love. Even brothers and sisters.
Through Little Cubs questions and Grampa's answers, children will learn more about God's love--especially that there is nothing they can do to make God stop loving them. I love how his Grampa models the wisdom and unconditional love of God to Little Cub.
A warm-hearted read at any time, I think the book could be especially helpful after working through disciplinary issues related to wrong attitudes and actions towards others. Somehow it's easier to see the right way to act when we see others working through their struggles.
This sturdy board book edition, full of colorful and charming illustrations, will be enjoyed by young and old together. If your kids are anything like mine, this will soon become a new favorite.
