Family Fun Magazine

One of my all time favorite magazines is Family Fun. We've subscribed for several years and every issue amazes me with the ideas. If you are a parent, grandparent or work with kids in some way, this magazine will pay for itself with loads of kid-pleasing ideas. And this would make a fabulous gift for a teacher, friend or family. Right now you can get 2 subscriptions--one for yourself and one as a gift--for only $10 (the normal price for one!). The 2 for 1 offer can be found in the upper right hand corner of the Family Fun home page.

Ten times a year, you will have kid-friendly recipes, crafts & gift ideas, organizing ideas, family travel ideas, and ways to stay healthy and active as a family delivered right to your home. This is a totally family-oriented magazine--encouraging families to turn off the TV and video games and use their imagination for real life play. And the ideas aren't costly--most use normal household items or inexpensive art supplies. If there are templates needed, you can find them on their website.

Who doesn't want to sprinkle some more fun into their family's life? This magazine helps you find ways to make every day a celebration: whether enjoying the seasons, marking special milestones, or making holidays unforgettable. Activities that will make magical family memories while encouraging kids to be creative and stretch their imagination. There are also book and toy recommendations (for every price range). I often take the toy suggestions and search on ebay or amazon to find a cheaper alternative.

And if you just can't justify the expense of a subscription, then you can enjoy the offerings at the Family Fun website for free. You can search through decorating and organizing ideas for kids, craft and recipe collections. Even ideas for doable birthday cakes. The next time you need an activity, check out their site and you won't be disappointed!

Wishing you a merry and creative advent,
Jill
