Books for Teen Boys (That Girls May Also Enjoy!)

Image result for boy books

Finding books for boys that aren't overly graphic, violent, or laced with profanity can be a challenge. And while many classics are fabulous reads for young men, the vocabulary and length can be a challenge.  When I knew my boys would enjoy a book but I could not persuade them to read it on their own, I'd make it a family read aloud.  This was how my boys experienced Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson and A Long Vacation by Jules Verne.

For those who may be looking for some additional recommendations, here are some titles to try out. Many on the list are written by Christian authors. Those that are not expressly Christian, were worthwhile reads.

Happy reading!
